Sooo much love!

I got the opportunity recently to meet the sweetest couple, and their fabulously-adorable 4-year-old daughter! What a lucky little baby this will be, my goodness. Here are a few sneak peeks into their maternity session, while I'm busy preparing her gallery to go online. Gretchen, wait no longer! ;) Thanks soooo much for being patient!

Aren't they such a gorgeous family?! And I loooove this next image..... just love it to pieces.

Now meet Miss Brynne. She completely stole my heart!!! I just wanted to stay and play with her in all of her pink and girliness. :)

My disclaimer: I did NO special editing to her eyes. And just look at how they sparkle! Ohh how I loved her. I can't wait to go back and photograph their sweet baby girl in March! I have the BEST. JOB. EVER. Really. :)

And such sweet compliments from all of you.... both in email form and the comments below. Really, y'all, THANK YOU SO MUCH. It means a lot to me.

Fresh face

Yep, I have a new girlie to show off in my blog banner above!! ;) You might recognize some of these photos from my website, but I have NEVER shared them on the blog! Why not...? Who knows, I went out of order back in the fall and skipped these somehow! Shame on me, huh?

Anyhow, this gorgeous gal is my oldest neice, Kyndall. Isn't she BEAUTIFUL?! For her birthday, we tromped all over the North Carolina countryside (and then downtown for some neat urban stuff!) and had sooo much fun shooting and modeling and laughing all over ourselves. (Well, okay... so she was laughing at me most of the time, truth be told!) But we had a blast. And we got a gazillion to-die-for images from our afternoon. Wanna take a peek?? Yeah, I knew you would. ;) Grab a cup of coffee first though... this post is a BIG one!!

I *adore* urban sessions, and we can really get so many fun images of your family in these types of locations. Remember, we don't always have to shoot at your home! I usually make location suggestions during our consultation, but if you'd know in advance that you'd like a session similar to Kyndall's, give me a shout! I've got lots of local hotspots in my bag of tricks..... ;)

Here we are!!

All four of us. :)

Yep, our first family photo! Our little one is due to arrive "on or around" June 22, 2008. ;) We will hopefully be able to find out whether we're bringing a boy or a girl into the world, by the end of the month.

I have more client sessions to share with you... soon.... so stay tuned!!

Happy New Year!

Yay, I'm back! :) I hope that all my clients and loyal blog-readers had a wonderfully Merry Christmas, and a very SAFE New Year's Day! Us? Our Holidays were PERFECT. We celebrated Christmas in North Carolina AND Kentucky (yes, lots of driving and flying -- thank goodness Parker is a wonderful traveler!), and we spent January 1 on a jet plane heading back home to Florida. As much as we truly enjoyed our visit "home", and the time we got to share with our family and friends... I can't tell you how happy I am to be *really* home right now. In Florida! Well... partially because it's 19 degrees in Kentucky at this moment. With more snow showers on the way. Brrr!! I have to confess that I'm freezing my behind off tonight in our 40-degree weather here in Tampa Bay! What in the world is going on with our temps down here?! While we were on vacation, I got word that it was 80 degrees in our area. I was just aching with homesickness. And now this cold blast as soon as we get back. Ahh well, life is good, cold or not. It's a new year, a new day, and the things that really MATTER in life could not be better right now. :) We are blessed!

I am spending this week getting back in the swing of things here at Stacey Woods Photography. Getting ready for sessions (lots of maternity and newborns coming up soon!), rolling out some new Collections, also some Home Wall Display suggestions that will make it easier for you to envision our photographs on your walls, and some new fun ideas for session locations! Also contemplating some new ordering processes that may make your life (and mine!) just a little easier.

Scheduling note: I've only got a few spots left for January sessions (except those newborns -- I definitely work y'all in whenever you decide to make your entrance into this world!). Another scheduling note! :) I'm going to be out of town from January 11-13. I'm really excited to learn some new processes, techniques, and just hang out and have FUN with a whole slew of other photographers the entire weekend! We are such a wild bunch, you know. ;)
